Brenau University Mock Mediation Tournament,
October 9 and 10, 2009
Brenau University (www.brenau.edu)
in Gainesville, Georgia will be hosting its seventh annual Mock
Mediation Invitational Tournament on October 9 and 10, 2009. This three
round tournament will also include opportunities for training for
students and coaches with Mr. Dick Calkins, founder of Intercollegiate
Mock Mediation and former Dean of the Drake Law School. Dick is an
accomplished attorney, author, and mediator and is one of the founders
and on the board of directors of the International Academy of Dispute
Resolution.
Registration fees are $60.00 per each three person
team and $10.00 for each extra individual including coaches. Fees
include the awards luncheon
on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Registration begins at noon
on Friday with training to begin at 1:00 pm. Tournament rounds
will be held
on Friday afternoon,
Friday evening and
Saturday morning. Space is limited, so register as early as
possible. The registration deadline is

The Peacemaker Challenge Invitational Mediation
Tournament will
take place
October 9-10 in the UW-Platteville Student Center. Registration
is $50 per team. We begin
Friday afternoon at 1 pm with a brief training session.Round 1
begins at 2 pm. Dinner is on your own in the Pioneer Student Center
after Round 1. Round 2 will be
Friday evening beginning at about 6 pm. Round 3 will being at
9:30 am on Saturday October 10. Awards will follow.

Second Annual Peacemakers Invitational Tournament, Maharishi
University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa, October 23 -24 , 2009
Training begins at 12:pm on Friday, with
round 1 of the mediation competition Friday afternoon, round 2 Friday
evening, and round 3 Saturday morning. The tournament ends with an
awards luncheon on Saturday, with adjournment at 1:30 pm. Teams are
comprised of three to five students, and you may enter as many teams as
