Activities of the Academy

The Academy offers a variety of courses in mediation methods and techniques to all persons, dedicated to serving their communities as peacemakers.

Those meeting all Academy requirements will receive Board Certification. In addition, the Academy offers instruction to colleges and universities, including graduate schools, interested in establishing mediation centers, and sponsors and supports national intercollegiate and law school mediation tournaments as part of its outreach program.

Finally, the Academy provides instruction and guidance to business, government, religious and civic organizations in the methodology of peacemaking.
